STANDARD SERVICES
The following standard services are available:
Platform Implementation Service
For customers of all sizes. Can be remote or on-site. Key activities include:
- Assistance with hardware and software requirements for BigFix components
- Assistance with planning and installation of BigFix components including the BigFix server, console and relays
- Assistance with Agent testing
- Assistance with planning and implementation of agents
- Project management
Optimization Service
For customers of all sizes. Can be remote or on-site. Key activities include:
- Review hardware, configuration, and settings of the BigFix server and database
- Review of the overall implementation, usage, configurations, and settings against BigFix best-practices for BigFix consoles and BigFix agents
- Review BigFix relay implementation details, configurations, and bandwidth throttling
- Run performance tests for BigFix server insertion rates, BigFix console refresh rates, BigFix agent responsiveness, and other performance tests as necessary
- Project management
Upgrade Service
For customers of all sizes. Can be remote or on-site. Key activities include:
- Review of upgrade process, benefits of upgrade, potential changes of behavior, requirements and features in new version
- Pre-upgrade health checks and review of current configuration of BigFix implementation including upgrade impact on any customized integrations and/or customizations
- Assistance with planning and/or performing upgrade of BigFix components
- Post-upgrade health checks and review
- Project management
Development Fixlet Pack
Custom Fixlet development of up to five standard custom Fixlets. Examples of standard Fixlets include:
- OS configuration changes
- Deploying software packages
- Detecting problematic configurations
