Non-English Patches

Instructions

Below are the masthead files for the non-English Fixlet sites for BES. By subscribing to these sites, you will receive patches in the chosen language.

To install the Patches for Windows for non-English languages:
  1. Open the BES Console and log into BES as an administrator user.
  2. Click on the masthead file below for each applicable language.
  3. Click OK when prompted and type in your password.
  4. The BES Server will then gather the Fixlet messages for the chosen site and distribute them to the BES Clients. (Only BES Clients on computers installed with the specific language will report as needing patches from this site.)
  5. Repeat these steps for each language you applicable language.
Note: The BES Clients will verify the computer's language by checking the language of core system files. If a computer was installed with a specific language of Microsoft Windows, it will need patches in that language regardless of the "system language", "user language", or "MUI". The BES Client will check the language of the computer and only report relevant patches for the appropriate language.
